About me
I am a racial justice & civil rights advocate for my people. I am committed to trauma-informed movement lawyering that expands immigrants’ rights, curtails the War on Terror’s surveillance project, and provides legal strategic support for working-class Desi families who are building power. This especially includes households led by cab drivers, delivery bikers, street vendors, domestic workers, and line cooks. My expertise spans eviction defense, inclusive democracy policy, and scaling South Asian American civic infrastructure. I’ve led interdisciplinary strategy across cross-sector coalitions, shaped multilingual voter protection efforts, and developed innovative & responsive programs across a spectrum of grassroots and nonprofit organizations. I work in the service of a broader vision, bolstered by my public speaking and scholarship: one that challenges the systems that criminalize poverty and migration, and secures paradigms for our communities to thrive.
