About me
I have worked for the New York City Council for more than nine years. I formerly served as counsel to the Committees on Civil Service & Labor and Education, did a short stint as interim finance counsel for the FY23 budget cycle, and also served in the Bill Drafting Division. Now run the inaugural Compliance Division, created three years ago under former-Speaker Adrienne Adams. My team and I work to ensure that the laws passed by the Council are implemented and administered by the Mayoral Administration fairly, efficiently, and in a manner consistent with legislative intent. Data plays a big part of what we do. Previously worked in government affairs working on higher education policy on the state level. I like good food, fine wines and traveling.
